Elizabeth City, North Carolina and the Civil War: A History of Battle and Occupation

On or around November 15, 2007 a new book will be released by Alex Christopher Meekins entitled: Elizabeth City, North Carolina and the Civil War: A History of Battle and Occupation. It is "An account of a little-known theater of the Civil War. In February of 1862, a Union naval force captured Elizabeth City.
