Valentines Day at the Museum of the Albemarle!

On February 2, 2008 from 10:00-2:00, bring your family to the Museum of the Albemarle to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Learn how people celebrated love during Colonial times by experiencing the different customs and traditions that went along with the holiday in the 18th century. Make a lovebird, decorate a Celtic love spoon, and even make a feeder to take home to your own backyard lovebirds! There will also be sweets and chocolate for dipping dried fruits and pretzels. For more information, contact the Education Department at 252-335-1453. Free and open to the public. Also, please check out www.MuseumOfTheAlbemarle.com.
