Ron Stevens is a very accomplished carver, having won many awards for his decoys and shore birds. He is well known locally as a member of the Albemarle Craftsman’s Guild. Ron also competes and sells in other places such as Chincoteague, Va. and Ocean City, NJ.
The female "Ruddy Duck" will be the subject for this carving class. Students will not only carve the duck, but will paint and attach the eyes. Please bring any carving tools, and an apron.
