(Elizabeth City, N.C., Aug. 25, 2008) – The director of the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (ECACVB) is leaving the agency to accept a position with the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film & Sports Development.
Russ Haddad, who has been ECACVB tourism director since 2000, resigned earlier this week to take a job as the state division’s director of Heritage Tourism and Community Development. His last day as ECACVB director is Sept. 19, and his start date with the state is Sept. 29. [read more]
