Elizabeth City, NC — “Purple pH” is the focus of Port Discover’s Make-It-Take-It for October. Why is cabbage juice interesting? How can it change colors? What colors can we make? Explore this funky food juice and take home a sample base/acid test strip to experiment some more! The activity is free to children visiting the center and is available during hours the center is open.

Port Discover is located at 613 East Main Street. Port Discover’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Programs can be arranged at other times for special groups. For more information call 252-338-6117 or visit www.portdiscover.org.
