Hi All, We just got back last week from the American Booksellers Association's Winter Institute in Salt Lake City Utah - it was Fantastic!! The mountains were unbelievable and huge!! We learned alot about bookselling and how to make it better for you our customers in these tough economic times - You will see new ideas being implemented in the store - please let us know what you think!!

Shopping local was one of the biggest topics - did you know that Independent business's employee 70% of the US?? Incredible - so check out our newly started blog on keeping it local in NC - We intend on really promoting this effort in North East North Carolina - and hopefully connecting with the entire state!

Writers Group - Tuesday March 10th at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Look for updates on the 'new' writers group - we are jump starting this group with many new ideas!!
