Kids First Child Abuse Treatment Center is a non-profit organization serving seven counties in Northeastern North Carolina. We provide counseling, medical examinations, forensic interviewing, and family advocacy for child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their non-offending caregivers. A nationally accredited Child Advocacy Center, Kids First served 284 new clients in 2008, while at the same time saving taxpayers over 80% versus the cost of private practitioners. April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and Celebrate! Kids First was created to raise awareness for Kids First's goal to give those who have been victimized the chance to reclaim their childhoods. Please join us as we celebrate the positive impact we can make on children's lives.
