Elvis, Rockabilly, 50's Entertainer from Richmond -- Something unique and FUN -- May 8th at City Wine Sellar

Elvis is in the building.

Wrenn Mangum Extraordinaire will be performing his one-man Elvis, Rockabilly, 50's show on May 8th at The City Wine Sellar from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Singing into an old-style microphone, playing guitar, and swiveling his hips Elvis-style, Wrenn will perform a solo salute to the original rockabilly pioneers and artists of the 50s.

Who is Wrenn Mangum? "Passionate" is one word---about music, about entertaining. Captivating crowds up and down the East Coast with both his solo Rockabilly and Elvis Tribute shows, he's been a legend for years.

Born in Richmond, Wrenn grew up on Rockabilly, 50's and Elvis. His voice, stage presence, and charisma capture the essence of that era. From humility and humor all the way to romance and Rock & Roll rebellion, Wrenn pays tribute to the Rockabilly greats with an incredible energy that reminds us of why they were so cool to begin with.

Wrenn's recent accomplishments include the honor of performing an Elvis tribute with the Richmond Symphony in October 2007, winning the prestigious "Images of the King Regional Contest" in November 2007, performing at CPAC 2008 during the Presidential Banquet in Washington, DC February 2008 and lastly performing at Graceland Crossing in Memphis, TN during Elvis Week August 2008.
