Save 15 percent on selected lodgings through Oct. 31
(Elizabeth City, NC, Sept. 3, 2009) – Autumn breezes will soon blow into Elizabeth City, along with a cool line-up of events and special savings for travelers. During September and October visitors may save 15 percent off accommodations at selected inns and hotels* with Elizabeth City's "Take 15 and Save 15" getaway package.
"Choose from among 15 fun fall events. Then be sure to mention 'Save 15' when you're ready to book with one of our participating innkeepers or hoteliers," said Charlotte Underwood, director of the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The ECACVB will also host a drawing for a free "Take 15 and Save 15" getaway package. Register by Oct. 10 at www.DiscoverElizabethCity.com. The prize package includes: two nights' accommodations at the Hampton Inn (may be booked between Oct. 15 and Dec. 15, 2009, based on availability), a round of golf for two at the Pines of Elizabeth City; a special tour of Port Discover Hands-On Science Center; a guided historic walking "tour and tea" for two courtesy of Dé Tours in Elizabeth City; and a welcome basket filled with hand-crafted chocolates from The Chocolate House, wine, roses and other treats.
