Fires in the Albemarle @ MOA

Fires in the Albemarle at the Museum

(Elizabeth City, NC) For this month’s History Tales, The Museum of the Albemarle will present “Fires in the Albemarle” Tuesday, October 20th from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Elementary age students accompanied by an adult will learn about major fires in the Albemarle region. Attendees will view firefighting artifacts from the Museum’s collection and participate in a hands-on activity.

This is a free event.

The Museum of the Albemarle is located at 501 South Water Street, Elizabeth City, NC. (252) 335-1453. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Closed Mondays and State Holidays.
