We are in the process of updating our website so you may browse our books on line and order from anywhere for pickup at the store or delivery - look for this exciting news coming your way!!

We are busy here at Page After Page, making our lists and checking them twice and sometimes three times in preparation for the holiday season - New stock in books, toys, gifts arriving daily!! Remember as always Free layaway!

Tuesday October 6th 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Author: Michael Burlingame - Abraham Lincoln: A Life

Editor Michael Burlingame sifted through the the ten-volume biography "Abraham Lincoln: A History" and selected only the personal observations of the secretaries during the Lincoln presidency. The result is an important collection of Nicolay and Hay's interpretations of Lincoln's character, actions, and reputation

Saturday October 10th 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Author: Pauli Reading - Sherlock McBiskit

Pauli and her dog McBiskit will be at the store to read from and discuss this book. A must read for children of all ages - this book delivers and enjoyable way to learn about character. Sure to be a fun event!

Saturday October 17th 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Author: Alice Wisler - How Sweet it is

Deena Livingston leaves behind a broken romance and her chef's job in Atlanta to spend time at her grandfather's cabin in North Carolina, where she meets several quirkly and lovable characters.

Thursday October 22nd 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Author: Ed Southern - Sports in the Carolina's, from Death Valley to Tobacco Road

Well known regional author has written another great book - Sports in the Carolinas boasts dozens of essays, profiles, and personal reminiscences that celebrate the amazing stories of athletes and teams in the region.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7TH 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Come share an afternoon with girls your age and learn about Kit an American Girl - Stories, Craft and snack
Pre-registration REQUIRED. Ages 6 & up.

fun fact: to keep the imagination growing you need to have less TV - and more reading!!! One way to help build the inventors and entrepreneurs of the future - that is why the books are always better than the movie - your imagination brings you the story - nothing can compete.

Check the in-store event board for upcoming children's events such as pirate and train parties & story-times!!

Store Groups:

Interested in reading the Classics? Classics reading group forming - We have a few participants - if you are interested call the store to sign up

Knitting Group & Crocheting Group - We miss you and want you back!!! Its the time of year to start knitting up a storm!!! Lets go! - this is open to any craft with YARN - Tuesday First and Third Tuesday of each month - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Come join the fun and learn/continue your projects!!

Writers Group - Wednesday Oct 14th at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - The writers group is really getting excited and focused - if you need a jump start to your writing - come on by!
