History Tales at the Museum!

"History Tales: Make It, Take It"

(Elizabeth City, NC) The Museum of the Albemarle will hold “History Tales: Make It, Take It” on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm. Elementary age students accompanied by an adult will learn that rescuing people in trouble is one of the many important jobs performed by the United States Coast Guard. Participants will read a story, view equipment used in rescues and participate in a hands-on activity.

The Museum of the Albemarle is located at 501 South Water Street, Elizabeth City, NC. (252) 335-1453. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Closed Mondays and State Holidays.
