July 2010 - Albemarle Sounds at MOA!

ALBEMARLE SOUNDS TO PERFORM AT THE MUSEUM

(Elizabeth City, NC) Sweet barbershop harmonies will fill the Gaither Auditorium Sunday July 25 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm as the Museum of the Albemarle presents the Albemarle Sounds, barbershop singers from Edenton. The group formed in 1991 and has since performed in many different venues all over the region. This is a free family program.

This event is presented as a part of the Museum’s exhibit: New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music. For more information, call 252-335-1453.

New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music is part of Museum on Main Street, a unique collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), state humanities councils across the nation, and local host institutions.
