Don’t miss one of the oldest fairs in North Carolina as the 52nd Annual Albemarle Craftsman’s Fair kicks off on Friday, October 29, for three full days of fine handcraft sales and demonstrations in historic Elizabeth City. Costumed artisans will fill the Knobbs Creek Recreation Center at 200 Ward Street with an array of juried handcrafts that include pine needle baskets, birdhouses, fine jewelry, wood furniture, quilts, and much more.
Plan to shop, observe skilled craftsmen at work, and dine at the on-site café provided by Montero’s Restaurant Friday through Sunday, October 29 through 31. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
General admission is $4 for a weekend pass, $3 for students and seniors. Group rates available.
