“Elizabeth City H.A.S. It!” Sites to Celebrate Launch with Special Program, News and First Friday Art Walk, Feb. 4
(Elizabeth City, NC, Jan. 21, 2011) – Mark your calendars—and get ready for a season of discoveries, when the “Elizabeth City H.A.S. It!” sites host a collaborative launch party and celebration, Feb. 4 at locations along the downtown waterfront.

Representing history, arts and science attractions in the Elizabeth City area, the H.A.S. It! initiative was begun last year when the trio of sites decided to promote their facilities collectively and find new ways to enhance their visibility.

The celebration, which is open to the public, starts at 4:00 pm in the Museum of the Albemarle auditorium with a special program announcing a new blog, www.ElizabethCityHasIt.com, created by the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. [read more]
