(Elizabeth City, NC) Beginning Tuesday, February 15, 2011, the Museum of the Albemarle will be open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tuesday through Saturday and will be closed Sunday, Monday, and all State Holidays.
“To deal with budget reductions, we have adjusted exhibit schedules and programs and have tried to minimize the impact on our service, especially to school groups, as best we can” said Ed Merrell, Director of the Museum of the Albemarle. “We regret that the continuing budget pressures mean the Museum will not be open to the public on Sunday.”
