May 2011: 3rd Annual Lucky Duck Derby for Albemarle Hopeline

This marks the 3rd year of the Lucky Duck Derby to benefit Albemarle Hopeline. Our goal this year is to raise over $20,000 dollars to help Hopeline serve the victims and families of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Each duck you adopt for $5 represents one rubber duck launched into the Pasquotank River on May 21, 2011 at the North Carolina Potato Festival. Purchase a Quack Pack of 5 ducks, a Quacker’s Dozen of 13 ducks or a Boatload O’Ducks of 30 ducks and increase your chance of winning. The first duck over the finish line wins $5,000 for their adopted parent. Second place wins $1,000 and 3rd place wins $500.
