On May 17, Elizabeth City State University will conduct a full scale mock drill that tests our ability to handle a major, campus fire. This mock drill will be conducted between 7:30 am and 1:00 pm. It will include participation by various local emergency response teams (fire and police, sheriff). Please be aware that during this time the following may occur:
- DRILL email notifications to university e-mail accounts
- DRILL email notifications via cell phones (for persons who signed up for PIER)
- DRILL voicemail messages
- Drill website alerts
- Siren Alert will be activated
PIER messages will be distributed to students, staff and faculty who have enrolled in the system. To enroll, follow the “ECSU Alert” link on the front of the university web site, www.ecsu.edu. This message is sent on behalf of University Police.
