Don’t miss one of the oldest demonstrating fairs in North Carolina as the 54th Annual Albemarle Craftsman’s Fair kicks off on Friday, October 26, for three full days of fine handcraft sales and demonstrations in historic Elizabeth City. Costumed artisans will fill the Knobbs Creek Recreation Center at 200 Ward Street with an array of juried handcrafts that include Nantucket baskets, birdhouses, fine jewelry, wood furniture, quilts, and much more.
Plan to shop, observe skilled craftsmen at work, and dine at the on-site café provided by Montero’s Restaurant on October 26, 27 and 28. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
General admission is $4 for a weekend pass, $3 for students and seniors. For group rates, call 252-562-5441.
