FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---Elizabeth City State University and River City Community Development Corp. present Green the Block, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on April 6 on the promenade (outside the Walter N. and Henrietta B. Ridley Student Complex). In the event of rain, Green the Block will be held in the Robert L. Vaughn Center.
Green the Block is an environmentally friendly field day where the university and its partners educate students and the public on how to live healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. We encourage local vendors and farmers to host a table- free of charge- where they are able to sell their product, market their business, offer jobs, or distribute educational materials. This is a family friendly event where participants will find food, fun activities and games!
