FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---Elizabeth City State University will celebrate Homecoming 2013 October 13 – 20 with the following public events:

Sunday October 13

12:30 p.m.     Viking Impact Month: Walk for Hunger at the Elizabeth City Waterfront         

6 p.m.             Mr. & Miss ECSU Coronation. This year’s theme is “Aladdin” in the auditorium of the Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Center

           

Wednesday, October 16        

6 p.m.             WRVS-FM 89.9 Listening Session

Hosted by the WRVS Air-Force!

Williams Hall – Room # 158

           

7 p.m.             Concert begins however, doors open 6 p.m.      

Lyceum Series Gospel Concert

Hosted by Mike Chandler, Rejoice 100.9

Featuring “Deitrick Haddon,” “Essence of Praise,” and “United Women of Praise Gospel Choir” in the auditorium of the Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Center

Admission: $5-students with school ID/$10 general public

7 p.m.             Mr. & Ms. Alumni Coronation at the K. E. White Center

Admission: FREE │Attire: Semi-formal

1:30 p.m.        ECSU Vikings vs. Lincoln University football game
