More Than Just a Name:  Living History of
Mill Pond Road

Join the Museum of the Albemarle on Saturday, April 26, 2014 for an educational program More Than Just a Name:  Living History of Mill Pond Road from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.  The afternoon will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a lecture by Wanda McLean, The History of the Dismal Swamp and the Underground Railroad, followed by William Harvey at 2:30 p.m., The Lost History of Households, Tents, and Lodges, and at 3:15 p.m. the documentary, Journey Back in Time will be shown.   

Remember and salute the shared experiences of working, raising families, and developing the communities of Pasquotank, Perquimans, and Camden counties after Reconstruction and prior to the era of Civil Rights.
