3rd Annual Waterway 5K Run/Walk

This morning was the 3rd Annual Waterway 5k Run / Walk Event! The it is organized to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for women who can not afford to have a screening mammogram. All of the proceeds from the Waterway5k go to the Albemarle Hospital Foundation and are earmarked for women (and men) in the seven county service area (Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans) who cannot afford a mammogram.
