Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative march held January 18
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ---- The Office of Student Life at Elizabeth City State University will hold the annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative march at 9:00 am on January 18. Participants will march from the G. R. Little Library on campus to Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 507 South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The general public, church groups, social and civic clubs are welcome to participate in the march. Mr. Linwood Williams, superintendent of the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools, is the speaker for the program which begins at 10:00 am at the church.
