MUSEUM FEATURES TOYS ON PARADE

MUSEUM FEATURES TOYS ON PARADE

The Museum of the Albemarle’s newest exhibit features Toys on Parade. Rekindle your favorite Christmas memories through the Museum’s collection of toys displayed in selected time periods. Toys from the Baby Boomer generations (50’s and 60’s) are featured, complete with an aluminum tree. Toys from earlier times are displayed throughout the lobby, with some from the Victorian era and even dating back to the 1890’s. A display on the second floor corridor features smaller, delicate toys such as bisque head dolls and the toys from our parents’ and grandparents’ childhoods. It’s a fun march in toy time going on right now at the Museum of the Albemarle! Call 252-335-1453 or visit http://www.museumofthealbemarle.com/ for more information.
