Free books for North Carolina!

Hi Ya'll,

I want to encourage you to visit the website that follows and to vote for North Carolina to receive 50,000 new books for children in need.

You are not required to answer "What book got you hooked?" and "Why?" unless you choose to do so. You may go straight to "Where would you like to send 50,000 new books?" and vote for North Carolina.

As of this morning we were ranked #4, so we have our work cut out for us --- and it is do-able. If we receive the most votes, North Carolina will receive 50,000 new books for children in need. If you have time, please send this message to individuals on your email lists.

First Book, a Washington D.C. based non-profit, is conducting an online contest that allows participants to:

1) share the memory of the first book that made reading fun for them
2) vote for a state which will be designated to receive 50,000 new books for children in need.

Access this website to vote: NC

Have a great day!
