ECSU Uses Dominate Service Game, Defense To Defeat Lady Pacers

ELIZABETH CITY, NC - The Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings defeated the Peace College Lady Pacers in three straight games (25-8, 25-16, 25-18) Monday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.
The Lady Vikings improve to 18-12 overall and take the season series from the Lady Pacers (10-15). ECSU topped Peace 3-1 on September 25th in Raleigh, NC.
ECSU controlled the game from start to finish with their service game, racking up 11 aces to 0 for the Lady Pacers. Samarri Griffin and Ashley Tarasoff led the way with 4 apiece. Defensively they also controlled the net with 8 total team blocks (2 solo, 12 assisted). ECSU doubled up the visitor in the dig department, 42-22.
Eva Johnson once again led the charge for the Lady Vikings with 9 kills while Lia Scott contributed 8 kills and a game high 11 digs.
