Lady Vikings Top CIAA Eastern Division for Third Consecutive Season

HAMPTON, VA - For the second consecutive season Elizabeth City State head volleyball coach Linda Bell has been named the CIAA Volleyball Coach of the Year.
Now in her sixth year at the helm of the Lady Viking volleyball program, Bell has led ECSU to its third consecutive CIAA Eastern Division Championship. The Lady Vikings are 20-14 overall and finished the regular season with a 13-1 mark in the CIAA.
ECSU will open up the 2009 CIAA Volleyball tournament tomorrow (November 6th) at 11:00 am against Shaw University. They will face Bowie State at 3:00 pm and Fayetteville State University at 7:00 pm.
