Make it Take it, Valentines Day edition

"History Tales: Make It, Take It"

(Elizabeth City, NC) The Museum of the Albemarle will hold “History Tales: Make It, Take It” on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 3:30 pm until 4:30 pm. Elementary age students accompanied by an adult will learn the traditions and symbols of the popular holiday “Valentine’s Day”, view Valentine cards from the Museum’s collection and participate in a hands-on activity. The program is free to the public.

The Museum of the Albemarle is located at 501 South Water Street, Elizabeth City, NC. (252) 335-1453. Hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Closed Mondays and State Holidays.
