Elizabeth City will be the site of a one-day workshop next month on strategies for boosting traffic and sales at area farmers markets.
The Marketing Division of the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will host the "A Successful Season" workshop Thursday, April 15, at the Pasquotank Center of the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service from 9:45 am to 2:45 pm.
The workshop is for vendors and market managers of current farmers markets, growers who want to sell at farmers markets or persons interested in starting such markets The cost is $10 and the registration deadline is Thursday, April 8. For more info, call 919-733-7887, ext. 257.
