You are invited to be a part of the 3rd Annual Albemarle Hospice Regatta and 1st Annual Albemarle Hospice 5k on August 7, 2010. Sailors will compete on the Pasquotank River while runners and walkers alike enjoy a scenic course through downtown Elizabeth City. Coupled with the FUN and fundraising efforts, this event-filled day will showcase the beautiful Elizabeth City waterfront while promoting Albemarle Hospice and the awareness of the services provided by Albemarle Home Care and Albemarle Hospice. The evening is wrapped up with an awards dinner and party with live music on the deck of Grouper’s restaurant. All proceeds of this event benefit Albemarle Hospice.

There are many ways for you to show your support. Sail, run, walk, sponsor, donate,
place a business ad, place a memorial ad, or just enjoy the dinner and party.

5k registration begins at 6:30 am and costs $25 ($20 if you register on-line through active.com before August 4th). The race will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Sailing registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. and costs $50 ($40 if you register before July 26th). The races will begin promptly at 10:00 am, wind permitting.

Live music will accompany dinner on the deck of Grouper’s Restaurant at 6:30 pm. Dinner tickets may be purchased for $25 (price becomes $35 after July 29th).
