FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE--The Elizabeth City State University Foundation announces eight honorees who will be recognized for their service at the fourth Foundation Scholarship Gala which will be held at 7:00 pm on March 12 at the K.E. White Graduate and Continuing Education Center. The categories of the awards and the honorees follow:

The Master of Ceremonies for the event is WAVY-TV news anchor Don Roberts. Nnenna Freelon, a world renowned jazz singer, composer, producer, arranger and six-time Grammy Award-nominee will perform for this black tie event. Tickets for the event are $100 per person and are available at the ECSU Cashier’s Window and in the main office of the ECSU Division of Institutional Advancement located in ECSU’s Marion D.
