Elizabeth City, NC – Mid-Atlantic Christian University will host its first Mid-Atlantic Society Gala. The Gala will be Friday evening, March 18th, during our annual Homecoming event. We have a very special evening planned. The dinner will begin at 7:00 pm. We will follow dinner with an exciting night of entertainment. The MACU Praise Team will share some inspirational music with us. Our special guest for the evening will be Sean Algaier (pronounced “All-guy-er”). Sean was a popular contestant on season 8 of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” Sean has served as tour manager for some contemporary Christian recording artists such as Nicole C. Mullen, Reliant K, and Toby Mac. Before joining the show he was youth minister at the Jenks Church of Christ in Jenks, OK. This past year he joined the staff of First Christian Church in Owasso, OK. Sean also travels sharing his message of perseverance and overcoming obstacles in hopes of inspiring all those willing to hear. In addition, he is writing a book and planning to record his first album this year.
