College of The Albemarle’s Small Business Center, in partnership with Downtown Elizabeth City and the Elizabeth City Chamber of Commerce, is offering a High Performance Leadership Series. All sessions are held Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Montero’s Restaurant located at 414 N. McArthur Street in Elizabeth City. Cost per session is $5. Each session includes dinner and materials.
April 23rd: Diversity - Learn how to motivate your employees, build and sustain trust and act from positive beliefs.
May 7th: Fundamentals of High Performance Teams - Understand your strengths and weaknesses as a leader and develop your own personal improvement plan.
May 21st: Managing Change - Examine your attitude toward your customer and develop an improvement plan to respond to customer feedback.
June 4th: Managing Daily Events - Learn the barriers which keep you from managing your time more effectively to help you create a systematic approach to manage daily events.
June 11th: Graduation Ceremony - Effective Meetings, Putting Your Leadership Qualities to Work !
For those who have completed each of the above sessions, you will be awarded with your Certificate of Completion during a special dinner in your honor.
