June 6 AOA Events

Jane Filer, international artist, will give a demonstration and lecture on Friday, June 6 at 3:00 pm at the AOA Main Street Stage, 609 East Main St. Cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. On June 6, AOA will present SPLASH. A colorful and fun exhibit will open at the AOA Gallery featuring three fabulous artists; Carolyn Peel, Judy Abrahams and Judy Bauman. The opening reception Friday, June 6 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm will be more like a party than an art opening. Fun – Vibrant - Splashy with color and affordable art and entertainment from the not quite famous (best little local garage band) and appropriately named “Go Figure.” Band members George & Blair Jackson, Phyllis and Dave Bosomworth, Sylvia Berry, Karl Brandspigel, Nita Coleman, Jessie Lindley-Curtice, David Hood and Mike Owney play several instruments from the saxophone to the washboard!
