Tickets now on sale for Encore Theatre Company’s production of “Books”! This drama/comedy/thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what comes next! Tickets for sale at Page After Page Bookstore, 111 South Water Street, Elizabeth City, $15 each. Performances are at The Maguire Theatre at The Center 516 East Main Street, Elizabeth City. Performance dates are February 18, 19, 25, 26, March 3, 4, 5. Encore’s newest director, Janice Klein has assembled a very strong group of Encore veteran actors. Walter Acevedo (Brian) last seen in “The Kitchen Witches,” Darrell Cross (Christopher) and Rebecca Cross (Claudia), both appeared in the recent production of “Annie Get Your Gun.” Rene Finkenkeller (Maddy), last seen in “Harvey,” Sue Hayhurst (Cop), appearing on the Encore stage after a long absence, Robin Hollowell (Betty), also cast in “Harvey.” Tony Stimatz (Eddie), appeared in “Annie Get Your Gun” and Dean Schaan (Roger/Buffo), a cast member of “Will You Still Love Me in the Morning.”
