History for Lunch - Cooking with a Latin Flavor
The
Museum of the Albemarle will host History for Lunch on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 12:15 p.m. The
first Wednesday of the month you can bring
your lunch and enjoy a lecture by a different speaker. The museum provides the
beverage. You may come earlier to eat
your lunch before the lecture begins.
June’s
program is a spicy adventure in cooking and will include demonstrations by
local chef Jack Baumbaugh. Baumbaugh is a graduate of the California
Culinary Academy
in San Francisco
and has worked at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and Montero’s. He has also taught in the culinary programs
at Santa Barbara City
College and the College of the Albemarle. During the museum’s Cinco de Mayo: A Fiesta
and Informational Fair, he delighted audiences with several demonstrations of
salsa making.
