COA Student
Wins First Place
at Art Show
Tara Wilkins was
awarded a First Place
ribbon at the College of The Albemarle Christmas by the Sea show held at The
Gallery in the Professional
Arts Building
in Manteo. Wilkins is a student in COA’s
Professional Arts Jewelry program. She uses
metalsmithing, enameling, and fiber techniques, combined with found objects and
gemstones, to construct her beautiful
and unique jewelry.
