ECSU Improves to 11-7 Overall, 8-1 in Conference Play

ETTRICK, VA- The Elizabeth City State University volleyball team topped Virginia State University in three games (25-10, 25-9, 27-25) Monday night at Daniel Gymnasium.
As a team ECSU hit nearly 40% from the field with 34 kills versus only 6 hitting errors. Jennifer Hendy led ECSU with a team high 8 kills against zero errors while Eva Johnson and Lia Scott contributed 6 kills each. Defensively Cassie Noe had 16 digs, half the total of the Lady Trojans team output of 31.
Virginia State (1-10) was paced by Brooke Wilson’s 8 kills.
